About Me

NYC & Maryland Based Director.

Ever Since I was young, I found love in the unknown and the idea of creation. Creating worlds that transport us beyond our every day lives and let us see thing through a new set of eyes. I do this by uplifting and shining a spotlight on the beauties not just on the outside but what is on the inside.

As a director, I tell stories that uplift BIPOC and female voices centering on self love & joy. I create theater for people who haven’t found love just yet and want to be seen onstage for their most authentic selves and leave the theater with a new perspective.

My inspirations come from music of the 70s & 80s with an emphasis of Motown. Featuring Rock n Roll to the music of today. Music acts as a vessel of expression and encourages spreading joy. One of my largest influences is Beyoncé because she not only creates music and dances that are representative of the black community in a positive light but she creates spaces and uplifts fellow black female artists and directors. I believe in a world where we can show Black Joy and spend more time celebrating each other for being ourselves rather than aspiring to be something we are not.
